One of the best and most beloved rooms in American comedy, the Punch Line Comedy Club – San Francisco remains a premier venue for great live stand-up. Opened in 1978 in what had been a dressing room for the neighboring rock club The Old Waldorf, it soon became a favorite haunt for comics and comedy fans as well as a place to catch stars in the making. San Francisco’s longest running and only full-time comedy club, it’s part of a family of venues that includes a sister club in Sacramento and Cobb’s Comedy Club in San Francisco’s North Beach neighborhood.
