Are we poised for a WILD World Series in 2014?


Can we say ”Year of the Wild Card?” The Kansas City Royals have swept their way through the postseason and the San Francisco Giants find themselves in a very familiar spot. Both coming from post season underdogs to playing for the crown…how sweet it is!

In the regular season, the Royals and the Giants each finished with under 90 wins; 89 and 88 respectively. The Royals and the Giants met just once during the regular season with the Royals sweeping the series and outscoring the Giants 16-6.
