Nu Stadium History

Nu Stadium was announced as the new home field of Inter Miami CF by team co-owner David Beckham in 2018. The new home field for Miami’s Major League Soccer team was built on the former site of the Melreese Country Club as a keystone of the newly constructed Freedom Park. Inter Miami CF previously played home matches at Fort Lauderdale’s Chase Stadium.

Nu Stadium will open in April 2026, with the stadium’s initial naming rights purchased by Brazilian fintech company NuBank. Inter Miami’s inaugural match in the stadium will be played on April 4, 2026 against Austin FC, marking the team’s home opener of the 2026 MLS season.

Parking and Admission at Nu Stadium

Upon opening, parking at Nu Stadium will include a parking garage and several lots available to all fans and event attendees, as well as the Audi VIP parking lot. Additionally, the stadium is accessible via public transportation with a dedicated stop steps away from the entrance on Miami’s Tri-Rail. The public transit system will also operate special trains to and from the stadium for weekend evening matches.
