A multipurpose arena in Bridgeport, Connecticut, Webster Bank Arena has helped drive the revitalization of the city’s historic harbor district. Opened in 2001 under the name Arena at Harbor Yard, the 10,000-seat venue boasts a busy schedule of AHL hockey and NCAA basketball along with concerts and other special events.

Among the many highlights of Webster Bank Arena’s early years as a concert venue were shows by Elton John, Cher, Aerosmith and Fleetwood Mac. In more recent years, it’s played host to 2 Chainz, T.I. and Twenty One Pilots as well as comedy superstars such as Adam Sandler, Jeff Dunham and Kevin Hart. In 2019, MMA fans also converged on the arena to see Sergei Kharitonov defeat Matt Mitrione in a heavyweight rematch for Bellator 225.
