How to Find Out If You Can Sell Your Tickets Today

Life happens and plans change, so Ticketmaster has built a way for you to safely and quickly sell tickets you can no longer use. If someone has made an offer for your tickets, you’ll have the option to sell your tickets right away—taking the waiting out of selling.
Here’s how to find out if an offer is available for your tickets.
How do I know if I have an offer to sell my tickets today?
If you’re starting a new ticket listing, an offer may already be waiting. Here’s how to sell your tickets and accept an available offer:
- Sign in to your Ticketmaster account and view your event.
- Click or tap the Sell button to select your tickets, then hit Continue.
- If you see the option to Sell Your Tickets Now, an offer is waiting.
- Click or tap Review & Accept Offer to review details and select your preferred method of payment.
- Select the Accept Offer option.
If you’ve already listed tickets for sale, you can revisit the listing in your account and check for an offer.
How do I know if my event tickets are able to be sold on Ticketmaster?
To find out if your tickets are eligible to be sold, click the Sell button on your event details page. If resale is available, you’ll be able to list your tickets for sale. If resale is not available, you’ll see a message detailing that the Event Organizer has not enabled resale for your event, and therefore, selling your tickets through Ticketmaster is not an option. Not all events or tickets are available for resale, and the resale options may be turned off or turned on at any time at the Event Organizer’s discretion. Additionally, Ticketmaster does not currently provide the option to sell tickets to third-party events (events where Ticketmaster is not the primary ticketer) on our site.
How long will the offer on my tickets be available?
The opportunity to sell your tickets instantly will vary depending on the event. Some ticket offers might be available for a few days, or a few weeks—it depends on demand. If you see an offer for your tickets and you know that you want to sell them instantly, your best bet is to take advantage of the offer to sell your tickets, as we cannot guarantee another offer will be made prior to your event.
When will I be paid if I choose to sell my tickets by accepting an offer?
If you choose to accept your offer and sell your tickets today, you’ll be paid typically within 7 business days via your requested method of payment. Make sure your account information is up to date, including your taxpayer information. Learn more about how and when you’ll get paid for selling tickets.
What’s the difference between listing my tickets for sale and accepting an offer?
When you list your tickets for sale, they’ll be displayed on Ticketmaster and discoverable for fans looking to buy tickets to the event. If an interested buyer has made an offer for your tickets, you’ll be able to see this offer and choose to sell your tickets instantly—taking the waiting out of selling. Whether you choose to accept an offer or list tickets on Ticketmaster, you’ll be paid via your requested method of payment typically within 7 business days after the event.
If I accept the offer on my ticket, who is purchasing it?
Offers are received from trusted, independent third parties. Ticketmaster is not involved in creating the offers presented, determining the offer price or purchasing the tickets when offers are accepted.
