Venue Guide: The Colosseum at Caesars Palace – Las Vegas, NV
Oct 2, 2020
Open since 2003 and known as the “Home of the Greatest Entertainers in the World,” the Colosseum at Caesars Palace is a modern spin on Ancient Rome. Built where the old Circus Maximus Showroom once stood, The Colosseum is the primary entertainment venue at Caesars Palace, and it’s a grandiose experience.
The Colosseum at Caesars Palace has hosted iconic Vegas residencies. Celine Dion inaugurated the venue in 2003 and has played over 1,100 shows here across both her A New Day… and Celine residencies. Elton John called the Colosseum home for his Red Piano and Million Dollar Piano residencies. Past performers include Diana Ross, Rod Stewart, Mariah Carey, Luis Miguel, J. Cole and Sting, as well as comedians Jerry Seinfeld and Ellen DeGeneres.
The best part about going to a show at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace is that it’s connected to the casino via the forum shops. Here you’ll find pre- and post-show dining options for every budget. Nobu Las Vegas features the sublime Japanese cuisine of Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, Pronto by Giada offers California-inspired Italian food by Giada De Laurentiis, and Beijing Noodle No. 9 serves up casual Northern Chinese fare. Then there’s the quick-serve Forum Food Court across from the Colosseum. Caesars Palace is right on the Las Vegas Strip and easy to navigate to by car, via cab or on foot.
There is ample parking in the Caesars Palace garage as well as valet parking at the Colosseum Valet.
Countless food and beverage options await inside Caesars Palace.
A modular seating system at the Colosseum allows for excellent sight lines from every seat. The setting is so intimate that the farthest of the 4,300 seats is only 145 feet from the stage.
