The House of Blues story started in 1992 when Hard Rock Cafe founder Isaac Tigrett and Elwood Blues himself, Dan Aykroyd, opened the first location in Cambridge, Mass. The Myrtle Beach venue was among the early additions to the nationwide franchise, bringing electrifying music and lip-smacking Southern cuisine together in coastal South Carolina.
