Bank of Oklahoma Center (BOK Center) History

The Bank of Oklahoma’s BOK Center was born when the city of Tulsa realized its vision for a destination venue that would be monumental in both its visual presence and its place in the community. August 2008 marked the ribbon cutting for the 19,199-seat arena, which has hosted the East Coast Hockey League’s Tulsa Oilers, the AFL’s Tulsa Talons and the WNBA’s Tulsa Shock football, alongside a long list of famous musical performers.
