Bank of Oklahoma Center (BOK Center) History

The Bank of Oklahoma’s BOK Center was born when the city of Tulsa realized its vision for a destination venue that would be monumental in both its visual presence and its place in the community. August 2008 marked the ribbon cutting for the 19,199-seat arena, which has hosted the East Coast Hockey League’s Tulsa Oilers, the AFL’s Tulsa Talons and the WNBA’s Tulsa Shock football, alongside a long list of famous musical performers.

Bring your appetite, because the BOK Center is stocked with food options from quick snacks to full meals. You can grab a gourmet grilled-cheese sandwich at Four Corners, fill up on brats and hot dogs at Frank’s Gourmet Dogs, chow down on hot wings or a classic burger at Roadie’s Grill, or select from a full Mexican menu at Wholly Tacomoli. Finish it all off with sweets from The Candy Shop or snag some snacks at Doc Popcorn. As for adult beverages, choose from a dozen lounges and bars including the 918 Local Brews, Rock N Roll Tequila and the Goose Island Bar.
