Step Inside: Intuit Dome – Home of the Los Angeles Clippers

Home of the Los Angeles Clippers

The Wall is waiting at Intuit Dome, the new multipurpose arena and home court of the NBA’s Los Angeles Clippers in Inglewood, California. As part of the booming sports and entertainment hub southwest of downtown Los Angeles, Intuit Dome adds its own slate of games and events just minutes from SoFi Stadium.

With a number of innovations added to the gameday environment, get your Intuit Dome tickets or LA Clippers tickets loaded up for the venue’s entirely in-app experience and learn all the ins and outs of Intuit Dome below.

Intuit Dome History

Opened in August 2024, the Intuit Dome became the first home arena dedicated solely to the LA Clippers in 25 years after sharing Crypto.com Arena with the Los Angeles Lakers in downtown Los Angeles. Led by owner Steve Ballmer, groundbreaking occurred in 2021, followed by the arena’s $2 billion construction. Intuit Dome held its first event on August 15, 2024 with a two-night performance by Bruno Mars, who was joined by his backing band the Hooligans and surprise guest Lady Gaga. Within its first week, Intuit Dome also hosted concerts for Marco Antonio Solís and Olivia Rodrigo as well as its first standup comedy show by Sebastian Maniscalco.

The Clippers played their first home game at Intuit Dome in a preseason victory over the Dallas Mavericks on October 14, 2024. LA’s regular season debut followed on October 23 against the Phoenix Suns with 18,300 fans in attendance. After the game, Suns player Kevin Durant made note of The Wall fan section, telling ESPN, “It’s going to be a tough road environment for anyone who comes in here.”

Along with The Wall, Intuit Dome has introduced several technological innovations to enhance the in-game fan experience. While in-app concession purchases and over 1,400 restroom fixtures help fans spend less time away from the game, a double-sided, 4K-resolution halo board, designed by Daktronics, keeps every guest feeling close to the action. Just don’t forget to look up during game breaks for the halo board’s mounted t-shirt cannons.

The sound at Intuit Dome may also have a different ring to it thanks to outfitted acoustics and a state-of-the-art JBL Professional speaker system. However, cheer hard enough and you might just hear yourself; Intuit Dome’s immersive AI technology uses cameras and microphones around the arena to identify the most spirited fans to earn bragging rights, special prizes or discounted Clippers tickets.

Despite its relatively recent opening, Intuit Dome has been tapped to host the 2026 NBA All-Star Game on February 15, 2026, which will mark the 75th All-Star Game. It will also serve as a basketball venue during the 2028 Summer Olympics in Los Angeles.
