Remi Wolf’s Top 10 Songs

Woo! When Los Angeles-based singer, songwriter and producer Remi Wolf hits the stage, prepare for powerhouse vocals, dance parties and a set full of her self-described “funky soul pop” sound. After debuting on the Billboard 200 chart for her 2024 sophomore album Big Ideas, the race to the top of a Remi Wolf song list has only gotten more fierce.
Explore our list of top 10 Remi Wolf songs below, and grab tickets to her Big Ideas tour before it reaches the U.S. in April 2025.
10. “Liquor Store”
The intoxicating charm of Remi Wolf flows from the first note of “Liquor Store,” the opening track of her 2021 debut album Juno. With a swirling production of scrunchy guitars, chimes and her multi-layered falsetto, “Liquor Store” doubles as a primer for newcomers and reintroduction to longtime fans as she shares her newfound perspective on sobriety and attachment. If you’re catching the song live, just know who to address after hearing, “Two, four, six, eight, who do we appreciate?” (Hint: “it’s you, motherf–cker.”)
9. “Soup”
Remi Wolf serves up one of her new Big Ideas on “Soup,” a sultry, retro power-ballad. After the initial shock of the song’s ethereal ’80s synthesizers and faster pace, Remi soars in with a remarkably tender chorus, promising her partner care packages of soup and even more, confessing, “I don’t wanna live without you.” Amongst an album of big swings, “Soup” may be the most satisfying.
8. “Shawty”
In a sign of greatness to come, Remi Wolf manages on her third official single to pair a devastating line like “I wish I could find another way to tell you that you’re not alone” with “I’m eating at a Bennigan’s.” Over a bright, pop beat complete with hi-hat loops and kitschy effects, the 2019 single gives early flashes of the Palo Alto native’s versatility and effortless cool. As with many Remi Wolf songs, “Shawty” was co-written and co-produced by herself and Jared “Solomonophonic” Solomon, and was later included on her stellar debut EP, You’re a Dog!
7. “Toro”
Remi Wolf plays her best bullfighter while tempting a night of revelry on the Big Ideas single “Toro.” She assures to “make this one count” with a sumptuous production featuring one of her most unabashedly funk and disco sets yet, from the four-on-the-floor beat and bar chimes intro to the irresistibly thick bass line and Sly Stone name-drop. With another sharp pivot, Remi Wolf smashes her target once again, “just like a toreador.”
6. “Woo!”
The wake-up call to many of the Remi Wolf uninitiated when it first released, “Woo!” arrived as the lead single to her 2020 sophomore EP, I’m Allergic to Dogs! With its leisurely rhythm and woozy backing track, Remi unspools some musings on love while firing off couplets like, “And I’m running out of Oxycontin/ Yeah, and I’m running out of good options.” Even so early in her career, it was clear the only way left for Remi was “higher and higher.”
5. “Liz”
An affectionately unserious ode to her college roommate, “Liz” stands as a powerful tribute in part by Remi Wolf’s lofty, unbridled vocal delivery. Initially recorded and performed in 2020, the song was officially released ahead of the Juno (Deluxe) edition a year later. But through the praise, we learn we have Liz to thank for the Remi we know today; after all, she taught her how to live.
4. “Sexy Villain”
Devious as a West Coast Bob DeNiro, Remi Wolf plays the “Sexy Villain” on the Juno fan-favorite. Backed by a tantalizing, R&B-inspired production, Remi makes a casual but convincing case to join the dark side. For her part, Remi Wolf embraces the archnemesis role all the way to her “tippy-toe” escape, and by the end, we’re helpless to stop her.
3. “Disco Man”
Find the prime example of Remi Wolf’s “funky soul pop” sound on “Disco Man.” The funky single makes for the perfect closing track on 2020’s I’m Allergic to Dogs! EP. Serving one more sample of her best moves, “Disco Man” features a tight, thumping groove, rapid-fire lyrical delivery, crispy percussion and, of course, the infectious “we on fire” refrain. The song continues to be a crowd-favorite, as it’s one of Remi Wolf’s most-performed songs, according to Setlist.fm.
2. “Cinderella”
Don’t be surprised when she switches it up; with one line on the Big Ideas album opener, Remi Wolf distills the album’s consistently unpredictable design. “Cinderella” immediately confirms that the singer and producer’s latest artistic growth fits like a glass slipper, sounding fresh and emboldened by the sharp, sleek production and additional horn section. Doubling as the album’s lead single, “Cinderella” notched Remi Wolf’s first entry on the Billboard Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart.
1. “Photo ID”
No Remi Wolf fan can help but smile for “Photo ID,” the breakout single from the I’m Allergic to Dogs! EP. Whether the original version or the We Love Dogs! remix featuring Dominic Fike from 2021, “Photo ID” captures all of Remi Wolf’s signature tricks in one snap. Between the psychedelic beat built around a funky acoustic guitar melody, references to Erykah Badu and Billy Ocean and her rafter-reaching wails at the song’s close, “Photo ID” is pure Remi, and that’s how it’s supposed to be.
