With a book by John Logan, the jukebox musical is based on the Academy Award-winning film directed by Baz Luhrmann and traces the ill-fated love story between Christian, a young poet who just moved to Paris, and nightclub singer Satine.

Moulin Rouge! The Musical’s original Broadway cast recording features mashups and covers of music by Marilyn Monroe and Madonna, Katy Perry, Elton John, Sia, Adele, The Police and more. Moulin Rouge! The Musical also includes versions of “Lady Marmalade” and “Elephant Love Medley,” both made famous in the movie, as well as the emotional, original centerpiece “Come What May.”
