“Shallow” – the soaring hit from A Star Is Born – is alive.
Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper – co-stars in the film, which was written and directed by Cooper, and produced by Live Nation Productions – performed the song live for the first time this weekend in Las Vegas. Gaga is currently amid a pair of Vegas residencies: Enigma and Jazz & Piano.
At this past Saturday night’s show, she shocked the audience by inviting Cooper onstage to perform the infectious hit from their Grammy Award-nominated film soundtrack. While Gaga has performed the track solo, this is the first time the two have performed it together since the film’s release in October 2018.
“Shallow” won Golden Globe and Critics Choice awards for Best Original Song earlier this month, and is currently nominated for an Oscar.
