Looking to keep the magic of Wicked: For Good going? Catch Elphaba and Glinda live on stage in Wicked, which has cast its spell on Broadway for over 20 years now. MJ the Musical
Wanna be startin’ something? Grab tickets to MJ the Musical, the jukebox biopic about the life and legacy of the late, great Michael Jackson. Filled with hit after hit from the King of Pop’s legendary songbook, the Tony-winning production traces Jackson’s Motown roots as Little Michael to his ascendancy to pop music royalty — all set against the backdrop of preparations for his 1992 Dangerous World Tour. Chicago
Fresh off her stint on the latest season of Dancing with the Stars, Whitney Leavitt has made her Broadway debut in Chicago. The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives firebrand initially stepped into the well-heeled shoes of Roxie Hart from February 2-March 15, and now she’ll be back for an encore run until May 3. Oh, Mary!
Mary Todd Lincoln’s acclaimed, demented reign as the brightest cabaret star on Broadway is showing no signs of stopping, with John Cameron Mitchell putting his stamp on the First Lady’s schemes, squabbles and soliloquies now through April 26. Once the Hedwig and the Angry Inch star departs, Maya Rudolph will make her Broadway debut and step into Mary’s petticoats from April 28 through June 20.

Beaches
Beaches becomes the latest beloved ‘80s cult classic to receive the Broadway treatment, with the musical adaptation kicking off performances at the Majestic Theatre on March 27, 2026. A story of a life-changing, decades-long roller coaster of a friendship between protagonists Cee Cee and Bertie, Beaches sees Jessica Vosk and Kelli Barrett step into the roles made famous by Bette Midler and Barbara Hershey in the 1988 film. The new musical’s book is also helmed by original Beaches author Iris Rainer Dart and the late Thom Thomas with music by Grammy winner Mike Stoller.

Proof

For the first time since it won three Tony Awards (including Best Play) in 2001, Proof is getting a Broadway revival. The updated production of the haunting, Pulitzer Prize-winning drama will star Emmy winner Ayo Edebiri and Golden Globe winner Don Cheadle in their Broadway debuts as the grief-stricken Catherine and her complicated, cryptic mathematical genius of a father, Robert. Rounding out the cast will be Jin Ha as Robert’s Ph.D student Hal and Kara Young, who’s replacing the outbound Samira Wiley as Catherine’s sister, Claire. Performances of Proof begin March 31 at the Booth Theatre.

CATS: The Jellicle Ball
Come one, come all to The Jellicle Ball, dolls! Two years after becoming a certified Off-Broadway sensation in the summer of 2024, CATS: The Jellicle Ball is officially bringing it to Broadway at the Broadhurst Theatre. Now in previews (with opening night set for April 7, 2026), CATS: The Jellicle Ball transforms Andrew Lloyd Webber’s beloved feline-centric masterpiece into a legendary trip through the underground ballroom scene. With choreography by Omari Wiles of the House of NiNa Oricci and Arturo Lyons of the House of Miyake-Mugler, the wildly anticipated Broadway transfer will see the return of the entire Off-Broadway cast including Baby Byrne as Victoria, Andre de Shields as Old Deuteronomy, “Tempress” Chasity Moore as Grizabella, Robert “Silk” Mason as Magical Mister Mistoffelees and Sydney James Harcourt as Rum Tum Tugger.
