Who is A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie?
A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie is a rapper and singer from the Bronx, New York. Born as Artist Julius Dubose, the rapper’s stage name was inspired by the character Ace Boogie in the 2002 crime drama Paid In Full. Following a pair of mixtapes and an EP, he released his debut album, The Bigger Artist, in 2017 after signing with Atlantic Records. Further hit projects in Boogie’s discography include Hoodie SZN (2018), Artist 2.0 (2020) and Me vs. Myself (2022). Since 2022, he’s also starred in the Disney+ original animated series The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder as the voice of Francis “KG” Leibowitz-Jenkins. The rapper’s most recent album, Better Off Alone, was released in May 2024.
