Primus Setlists: What to Expect From Their 2025 Tour

Primus has been pushing the boundaries of music for 40 years. Since forming in 1984, the group have traveled around the world, entertaining audiences with their amalgamation of progressive rock, metal, funk and psychedelic music.

With a changing lineup throughout the years, the band has welcomed an abundance of great musicians to its ranks. At present, Primus is composed of bassist/vocalist Les Claypool, guitarist Larry “Ler” LaLonde, and drummer Tim “Herb” Alexander. Their comical lyricism, musical innovation and unforgettable live performances have earned them ample praise from critics and millions of fans.

Primus’ Sailing the Seas of Cheese (1991) and Pork Soda (1993) both went Platinum, while their 1995 record, Tales from the Punchbowl is certified Gold. Their albums have also received three Grammy nominations — two for Best Surround Sound Album, and one for Best Hard Rock Performance.

This spring, Primus embarked on their Sessanta V 2.0 tour with Puscifer and  Perfect Circle. Later this year, they’ll spend July and August on the Onward & Upward Summer Tour 2025.
