When does the 2024-25 NHL regular season begin?
The NHL regular season begins on October 4, 2024 when the New Jersey Devils play Buffalo Sabres in Prague, Czech Republic. The teams will play twice in Prague as part of the 2024 NHL Global Series. The regular season is 82 games long and is preceded by the preseason, which starts up in late September 2024 and continues into early October.
When is the Discover NHL Winter Classic?
The Discover NHL Winter Classic will feature the Chicago Blackhawks hosting the St. Louis Blues outside at Wrigley Field, the home of MLB’s Chicago Cubs, on December 31, 2024.
When is the 2025 NHL Stadium Series?
The 2025 Navy Federal Credit Union NHL Stadium Series will feature the Columbus Blue Jackets facing the Detroit Red Wings on March 1, 2025 . It will be a home game for the Blue Jackets and take place at Ohio Stadium, the home of the Ohio State Buckeyes football team.

Since playoff matchups are not determined until the regular season is complete, playoff tickets are not typically included in your 2024-25 NHL Season tickets. However, season ticket holders will have the opportunity to register to purchase playoff tickets when they become available.
