I bought tickets before my team announced they were having socially-distanced seating. Are my tickets still valid?

If you purchased tickets from Ticketmaster before a team announced it was implementing socially distanced seating, your tickets may no longer be valid. If that happens, Ticketmaster will send an email to notify you of the change, and issue a refund to your original method of payment.

Who decides to implement socially distanced seating?

Event organizers decide on the safety protocols for their events (including socially distanced seating) in accordance with applicable local health and safety guidelines.

Can I still buy tickets to the 2020-21 NFL season?

Fans whose tickets were impacted by cancelations will be notified if tickets become available again. You can also click here to see if tickets are available.

How does socially distanced seating work?

Tickets will be available to purchase in socially distanced seating pods (i.e., ticket groupings of 2, 4, 6, 8, etc.). Each seating pod will have space surrounding to allow for social distancing at the event consistent with applicable health and safety guidelines. Events that utilize socially distanced seating will be operating at reduced capacity. When you purchase tickets, you must purchase all tickets available for sale in a preset grouping.

What other safety measures should I be aware of?

Event organizers may implement additional safety measures to limit the spread of COVID-19. For the latest information, visit the NFL’s official website and your team’s official website.

How else does COVID-19 affect my tickets?

We are working closely with the NFL and the teams to ensure that we keep fans updated. Due to the continually evolving situation, the NFL or teams may decide to reschedule, postpone or cancel events, in which case fans will be promptly notified.

Full refunds will be available if a game is canceled and it cannot be replayed, or if it is played under conditions that prohibit fans from attending. If a game is postponed or rescheduled, your tickets may be valid for the new date, so hang onto them and we will keep you posted. In addition to our standard Purchase Policy, our Supplemental Terms apply. Please also note that additional ticket terms and conditions of the applicable NFL club apply. Please refer to the applicable club’s website and/or the ticket itself to review those ticket terms and conditions.

If I can’t make the game, can I sell my tickets on Ticketmaster?

If for some reason you can’t make the game, you can sell your tickets on Ticketmaster directly from your account. If your seats are part of a socially distanced seating pod, you must sell your seats together as a group in order to help enforce social distancing guidelines.

When you visit your account, if you see a “Sell” button on your order, you’ll be able to see your tickets verified through Ticketmaster. Just click the button to set your price and list your tickets. When your tickets sell, we’ll make sure you receive the correct funds via direct deposit after the event. You can also edit or remove your listing anytime.

What are fan-to-fan resale tickets?

You may purchase 100% verified tickets from other fans for many events listed with Ticketmaster. If you purchased a verified resale ticket with Ticketmaster, we’ll reissue a new ticket just for you, eliminating the need for photocopies or any manual transfer. Please note, if you’re buying Verified Resale Tickets, we can’t guarantee that other fans will be socially distanced from you.
