Highlights from the 2014 MLS season (in no particular order)

1. Thierry Henry joined MLS in 2010. In 2014, he made his 100th MLS regular season appearance for the New York Red Bulls.

2. On October 4, 2014, Landon Donovan of the LA Galaxy broke the MLS all-time assist record (136) when he surpassed Steve Ralston for the assist title. Donovan would finish the season with 136 career regular-season assists.

As we prepare for the upcoming 2015 NBA Season, let’s take a look back at the last year. The NBA Playoffs 2014 were one of the most gripping in recent memory.

Bradley Beal, of the Washington Wizards, became the first player since Magic Johnson in 1980 to have three playoff games with at least 25 points before his 21st birthday. San Antonio Spurs’ Tony Parker and his fiancée had a baby—and then shortly after Parker showed up to Game 5 against the Dallas Mavericks and dropped 23 points.

Aside from the impressive performances of the players, there were even more events surrounding the NBA Playoffs 2014 that left us wishing they’d never end.

If you go to YouTube right now, and type in “concerts 2005″ (the year YouTube launched), you’ll find several videos featuring full-length concert coverage. If you take a peek at one of your friend’s timelines, odds are, you’ll uncover at least a selfie or two of them attending a live event. And, if you follow your favorite musician on Twitter, you’re likely to have seen them tweet while on tour.

Well, we sure have. According to our recent Ticketmaster Live Analytics study, live event social media “engagement is up, up, up” for concert fans. No surprises there, but through this study we uncovered some interesting facts about how concert fans use social media and how you can use that information to your advantage.
